After that, the battery is charged using a controlled voltage or current. These systems often use a variety of converter topologies, including AC-DC Interleaved Boost converters and DC-DC Phase-shifted Full Bridge or LLC Resonant Converters. Through circuit modeling in MATLAB, the efficiency of DC fast chargers is assessed. The use of two power converters is suggested in one way, with the emphasis on how a larger output makes the charging process much more efficient.
