An Empirical Study on the Impact of Corrosive Atmosphere on 2000 Al-Cu + Fly Ash Metal Matrix Composite Alloy

Al-Cu + Fly Ash Metal Matrix Composite Alloy 200 via the year of production, is an offspring with a prospective mechanical characteristic. In this study, an investigation of the effects of a corrosive environment on the alloy it is made from is explored. One of the main aspects of research that is carried out by comparative tests includes a reaction of an alloy to abrasive circumstances. The findings indicate that there is an indirect effect of these reciprocally acting corrosion-induced structural alterations and alloy composition on mechanical behaviour. As being an involved factor in Structural, Automotive, and Aerospace Engineering Fields having emphasized acidic conditions it is very practical and insightful information allowing Metal Matrix Composites enhancement of the formation of corrosion resistance alloys.
