High-End Approximate Multiplier Using Brent Kung Razor FlipFlop

In this paper, we proposed the design of an approximate multiplier using Brent Kung Razor flip flop. An approximate multiplier technique is used for low energy consumption and high performance. To satisfy the requirements in the proposed system, the length of carry is selected dynamically. By using a tree compressor, the partial product is optimized. Hence compared to existing multipliers the proposed approximate multiplier using Brent Kung razor flip flop produces effective results in terms of area and delay. The proposed approximate multiplier is synthesized on the Xilinx ISE, EDA Tool.
