Iot Based School Bus Monitoring System

Ensuring the safety of students is a top priority, the proposed smart school bus monitoring system aims to assist parents and school administrators by managing and monitoring various aspects of transportation. By using Arduino, RFID, GPS, and GSM technologies, the system offers a comprehensive solution for tracking students on a school bus. An Android application enables parents to monitor their child's pickup and drop timings as well as the school bus's location, while the database unit updates the location with geographic coordinates. Additionally, the RFID scanner detects the student's identification when boarding the bus, system incorporates two switch buttons, one for notifying bus arrival and the other for emergencies that may arise during the route, the school unit manages and adds student information to the Android application created. The implementation of this system ensures student safety during transportation, and the monitoring appliance also provides management with updates on emergencies or complaints.
