Smart Mask for Active Defense

Face masks protect against airborne infections and infectious agents, such as COVID-19, in an effective, simple, and low-cost manner. Existing masks only provide passive protection, operating just like an air filter for the nose or mouth. According to the report, this gadget has been outfitted along with sophisticated detectors that perceives the existence of drifting viruses in actual-time and use necessary action to restrict this threat. This methodology makes use of a control system that detects suspended particles of various size near the mask and makes smart decisions to reduce their concentration. In this current design, the in-built controller helps to maintain the air quality using PM sensors, there by triggering piezo transducers to generate a mist to collide with the particles and drop them to the ground. The device can liaise with the user via an Android/IOS application that sends various alerts. If desired, the user can override the onboard control system and use the app to personally operate the fog generator.
