6G Satellite Communication: Key Technologies, Challenges and Trends

Being able to provide high-speed, seamless and ubiquitous broadband access for everyone and everything at any time, the satellite-ground integrated network is recognized as an important feature of 6G communication, which has become a consensus in the industry. The satellite access to 6G communication, also called phone-to-satellite connection, will be a new driver for consumption growth in the telecommunication industry, giving rise to a large number of user demands and vertical usage scenarios. Starting from the perspective of the recent progress of satellite Internet, this paper sorts out the key issues in satellite Internet and proposes the corresponding solutions. Finally, conclusions are drawn regarding the future development trends and challenges of satellite Internet.
