Analysis of the Force Performance of the Steel Box Arch-Concrete Pier Section Based on Cloud Platform Data

Using the Baigou River Bridge as the engineering background, the simulation model of the steel box arch-concrete pier joint section of the bridge was established by Midas-FEA, and the effect of PBL connectors on the mechanical properties of the steel box arch-concrete pier joint section, as well as the mechanism of force transfer and stress distribution between the members were analysed.The results show that The PBL shear key, as the main force transfer member, directly transmits 52.2% of the internal forces and is subject to more complex forces. Analysis of different shear stiffness parameters, different aperture diameters, and different shapes of the PBL connection parameters on the PBL connection transfer effect, it is concluded that the main factors affecting the shear performance of the PBL shear key are the presence or absence of penetration reinforcement, the diameter of penetration reinforcement (shear stiffness), aperture diameter, etc., different shapes of the same area of the aperture diameter have no effect on it, of which the addition of penetration reinforcement in the hole can significantly improve its bearing capacity. It is recommended that PBL shear keys are used to transfer shear forces at the steel-hybrid interface in steel-hybrid combined sections with partial section connections for pressure transfer shear, and the research results can provide references for the subsequent design of similar structures.
