Design and Finite Element Simulation Analysis of Multi-Functional Wheelchair

This paper designs an electric wheelchair with multiple functions from the perspective of practical life. According to the principles of ergonomics and the application of human body size, the multi-functional wheelchair is modeled in Solidworks software, and the composition and size of key structures are determined. Ansys Workbench software was used to carry out finite element analysis on the lifting bracket, gear group and chassis of the multi-functional wheelchair in three different working conditions, and the ultimate position and stress of the force were obtained, indicating that the key parts of the design meet the use requirements under different working conditions. The quality of the wheelchair chassis is optimized, which verifies that the final designed multifunctional wheelchair can still be used safely.
