Asset Tracking and Monitoring Using RFID Technology for Industries

Design of a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag and compatible reader for the design. Each RFID tag having a unique code is transferred from Tx pin to the reader providing all the details regarding the assets that needs to be tracked and monitored throughout. The process involves electromagnetic induction and tag is battery less which is powered by the reader when brought in certain range. The details regarding the assets are available in an Android application and can be modified when required. The details are stored in a Cloud and accessed whenever necessary. The assets that are being monitored are given with asset name, id, location, and also images are added. The design includes a handheld RFID reader and 125KHz RFID tag. These have many applications in many industries, tolls, hospitals…. etc.
