Research on the Design and Practice of Artificial Intelligence Curriculum for Middle Schools Under the Background of New Curriculum Standard

With the arrival of the intelligent era, it is of great significance to carry out artificial intelligence courses in the compulsory education stage to cultivate talents adapted to the intelligent society. However, the teaching of artificial intelligence is still in the exploratory stage, and there are problems such as ambiguous positioning, content differentiation, and mode solidification in primary and secondary school artificial intelligence courses. Taking the new curriculum standard as the implementation background and referring to the current implementation of AI courses in primary and secondary schools, the article aims to design an AI course that meets the cognitive characteristics of junior high school students, with a view to cultivating students' core literacy. Subsequently, on the basis of the curriculum design, the effectiveness of curriculum teaching is examined in actual curriculum implementation by combining project-based teaching and AI educational resources.
