Analysis of the Current Research Status of Intelligent Education in China Based on Knowledge Graph

Intelligent education, a burgeoning field at the intersection of artificial intelligence and learning science, is intricately linked to the advancement of emerging AI technologies. This literature-based study delves into the comprehensive development of intelligent education in China. By examining CSSCI journal papers on “intelligent education” from the CNKI database over the past decade and utilizing citespace software for knowledge graph, this paper analyzes and depicts the current research status, hot topics, spatial distribution, and clustering themes. Additionally, this paper highlights existing issues in Chinese intelligent education such as privacy risks associated with big data applications in educational settings and emphasizes the need for improved policies and systems when integrating relevant technologies into teaching and assessment practices. Moreover, it explores whether artificial intelligence will exacerbate digital disparities by widening the digital divide while aiming to enhance teaching efficiency and promote educational equity. In response to global trends in intelligent development along with their challenges, this paper advocates for proactive adjustments within education that leverage existing technological advantages and potentialities to effectively serve social-economic development,
