Ordered Charging and Discharging Dispatch Strategy for Residential Electric Vehicles Based on V2G

With the increasing number of electric vehicles, the uncertainty and randomness of their charging demand seriously affect the stability of the power grid. Therefore, this paper proposes an orderly charging and discharging scheduling strategy based on V2G electric vehicles for residential areas. First, the EV charging load in residential areas is modeled according to users' driving patterns and travel characteristics using the Monte Carlo method. Then, considering the users' willingness to respond to the scheduling and the battery loss, a multi-objective optimization function is established based on the mean square deviation of the grid-side load and the users' charging and discharging costs. Finally, different charging and discharging strategies and different user responses are simulated and analyzed. The simulation results show that the proposed scheduling strategy can effectively reduce the peak-to-valley load difference, smooth the load fluctuation, and improve the users' charging economy at the same time.
