An Exact Method for Stabilizing Control Design of Planar Linear Periodic Sampling Systems

The invariance, which is referred to such properties that remain invariant under the coordinate changes, plays a key role in control theory. We present a method through invariance for the stabilization control design of planar linear systems with periodic sampling state-feedback. Using this method allows us to characterize the interrelation between the sampling periodicity and the feedback gain parameters so as to achieve stabilization. Thus, we can obtain all the feasible solutions of sampled-data state-feedback control. Illustrative examples are included to show the effectiveness of the theoretical method.
