A novel track segment association method by combining the dynamic model and pseudo-measurements

In the presence of target occlusion, large measurement errors and data missing during target tracking process, track breakages occur frequently. This paper introduces pseudo-measurements in the interruption interval by fitting historical data. The generated pseudo-measurements and the dynamic model are combined to implement the state update in the interruption interval. Simulation results demonstrated the superior association and estimation performance of the proposed algorithm over traditional algorithms.
