Design of low power consumption portable ECG monitoring system

At present, China's population is aging seriously, and the younger group often works overtime and stays up late, so the incidence of cardiovascular disease in China is increasing. Currently, the diagnosis and prevention of cardiovascular diseases can only be addressed by specialized hospitals, and most patients miss out treatment because of its time-consuming and laborious nature. In this paper, we have designed an Electrocardiogram monitoring system that is portable and easy to operate. The system uses the ESP32WROOM32E, which integrates a Bluetooth RF front-end, as the main control chip, and uses AD8232 as the front-end acquisition chip, around which targeted filter circuits are designed, as well as a digital filter for the main control chip. The collected signals are pre-processed and then the data is sent to the upper computer WeChat applet via low-power Bluetooth. Through verification, the system designed in this paper is characterized by portability, low cost, low power consumption and easy operation.
