Research on Direct Speed Sliding Mode Control for PMSG

Permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) suffers from slow dynamic response speed and complex parameter design under dual loop PI control strategy. In order to improve the dynamic response speed and adaptability to parameter changes of the system, a direct speed SMC control strategy for DC grid connected permanent magnet wind turbines is proposed. Two aspects are studied as follows. A direct speed SMC control strategy is designed, which converts the first-order transmission equation into a direct relationship between input variables (u

) and speed through differentiation, eliminating intermediate electromagnetic torque variables, improving the dynamic response speed of the system and the complexity of controller parameter design. Secondly, solve the control law based on Lyapunov function and verify its stability. Finally, the effectiveness of this strategy is verified through simulation examples.
