Coverage-Based Multi-Target Dynamic Allocation and Cooperative Encirclement Strategy

Swarm maneuverable target allocation stands as one of the most pivotal techniques in group cooperative confrontations. This article, grounded in the coverage function, employs an enhanced particle swarm algorithm to investigate the allocation and encirclement strategy for multiple aerial vehicles in cooperative counteraction against a group of mobile targets. Initially, based on the design of the encircling zone, a coverage function for multiple aerial vehicles targeting mobile objectives is crafted. Subsequently, a comprehensive objective function, incorporating threat indices and damage effectiveness, is formulated to address the collective mobile targets. Leveraging the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm, this approach allocates the group of mobile targets, effectively transforming group cooperative confrontations into a multitude of group-to-one and one-to-one challenges. Simultaneously, real-time dynamic allocation is triggered based on the coverage function, ensuring continuous target coverage by multiple aerial vehicles up to the terminal moment. Ultimately, through numerical simulations, the efficacy of this allocation and encirclement strategy is demonstrated.
