Research on the optimization and configuration of integrated photovoltaic and energy storage systems in smart buildings considering the lifecycle costs

With the increasing global demand for sustainable development and energy efficiency, the optimization and intelligent configuration of building energy systems have become key to achieving sustainable development goals. This paper establishes a solid theoretical foundation for integrated photovoltaic and energy storage system configuration based on analysis. Firstly, a photovoltaic power station in a northern region is selected for load data analysis to determine the photovoltaic capacity and energy storage capacity. Secondly, considering the photovoltaic consumption rate and system operating costs, optimization objectives, constraints, and battery parameters are established. Based on this, an improved algorithm is used to optimize the capacity allocation of mixed energy sources throughout the lifecycle of the integrated photovoltaic and energy storage system in buildings. The effectiveness and rationality of the model are verified through case studies.
