Engineering Development of Highway Single Lane Autonomous Driving System

this paper describes a solution to develop a single lane auto drive system for expressway in an engineering way. In addition to the common adaptive cruise control and lane center keeping functions, this plan also includes an obstacle avoidance strategy that can avoid stationary targets and targets that suddenly appear in the target area, so as to improve the auto drive system of single lane expressway on the basis of the following function, lane keeping function, emergency braking auxiliary function and other functions. The test results show that the scheme can effectively avoid common abnormal conditions and achieve the purpose of enhancing the robustness of the auto drive system.
