A Localization Algorithm based on Dice-Optimized Maximum Similarity Path and Sparrow Search Algorithm

This paper proposes an innovative algorithm for wireless sensor network localization, termed as the Dice Similarity Coefficient Correction and Sparrow Search Algorithm-based Localization Algorithm (Dice-SSA). The algorithm enhances the traditional DV-Hop localization algorithm by employing two novel techniques. Initially, the algorithm introduces the Maximum Similarity Path to replace the distance between unknown nodes and anchor nodes. The similarity of paths between unknown nodes and anchor nodes is redefined using the Dice coefficient, introducing a new level of accuracy to the localization process. Finally, the Sparrow Search Algorithm is employed to refine the localization, further improving the algorithm's performance. This multi-layered approach offers a significantly advanced method for wireless sensor network localization. The effectiveness of the Dice-SSA algorithm is validated through simulation, demonstrating its superiority in terms of localization accuracy. In comparison to the traditional DV-Hop algorithm in specific network topological environments, the improved algorithm reduces errors by 79.26%.
