A Novel 2D-Chaotic Map And Its Application In Facial Area Encryption

Privacy protection is a highly valued aspect in the digital era. In this regard, this paper proposed a novel two-dimensional chaotic encryption system based on facial region recognition. A new 2D-Chebyshev–Sine nth-Power Coupling Map (2D-CSnPCM) is utilized to generate the chaotic sequences required for encryption, thereby enhancing the reliability of the encryption scheme. The dynamical behavior of the chaotic system such as bifurcation diagrams and Lyapunov exponents is analyzed. We proposed a two-round encryption scheme that combines DNA encoding, S-box generating, and interlaced transform algorithms. Finally, the security and resistance to attacks of the encryption scheme are verified through simulation and attack tests.
