Wavelet Threshold Denoising Based Fault Line Detection Method for DC Systems

The utilization of flexible DC transmission has several benefits, including flexible operation patterns and high transmission capacity. To ensure the secure and stable functioning of DC systems, the development of fault detection technology that is both rapid and responsive is of utmost significance. Nevertheless, the presence of noise imposes constraints on the practical implementation of several defect detection techniques. This work presents a fault line detection approach that utilizes wavelet threshold denoising. The method use wavelet transform to eliminate the noise signal and incorporates the analysis of cross-correlation to achieve fault line identification. The methodology employed is straightforward, exhibiting a high degree of precision and presenting notable benefits.
