Charging Circuit Design And Efficiency Analysis For Magnet Coils

In the past few decades, significant progress has been made in the research of pulse power supply, which has the characteristics of small size, light weight, stable output, and easy modulation of output waveform. For the superconducting excitation system, the superconducting switch has the characteristics of being able to quickly switch between the superconducting state and the resistive state with the change of current, and has a high degree of similarity with the pulse power supply. In this study, the pulse power supply is introduced into the excitation system, and a circuit for magnet coil charging is proposed, which can be quickly put into practical application after implementation, leaving a lot of room for optimization in the design of power supply volume and current leads.
