Design of Profibus-DP module based on APC3 chip

Profibus-DP is a classic fieldbus system (FCS) that has many advantages in the application of distributed control systems (DCS) in power plants,. This article uses microcontroller as the main controller and domestic chip APC3 as the data link layer controller to design a low-cost DP slave station. It supports the DPV0 protocol of Profibus-DP and can meet the needs of the vast majority of occasions. This greatly reduces the cost of using Profibus-DP communication technology and can promote the transition of modern power plants from DCS control to FCS control.
