A Comprehensive Review of Voltage Control Based on Active Distribution Network

The construction of a new type of power system based on new energy is of great significance for China to achieve the goal of " carbon peak " and " carbon neutrality. " In recent years, as an important way for new energy to access the power grid, the distribution network is facing many problems such as power quality degradation and economic decline caused by the large-scale access of new energy. Among them, the voltage rise caused by the two-way flow of power flow is the dominant factor restricting the large-scale access of new energy. The active distribution network can schedule a variety of controllable resources to cope with the voltage impact caused by large-scale new energy access and ensure the safe and stable operation of the distribution network. In this paper, the research results in the field of active distribution network voltage control are sorted out and summarized. Firstly, the influence of distributed generation device access on the voltage of distribution network is discussed. Then, according to the voltage control framework, the three control strategies of local control, centralized control and distributed control are integrated and analyzed, and the problems existing in the current research are pointed out. Then, the application of deep reinforcement learning algorithm to active distribution network voltage control strategy is discussed. Finally, the application of active distribution network voltage control strategy in new power system is further considered and prospected.
