Arc Interruption Characteristics of the C4F7N Mixed Gas in a 126 kV Self-blast Circuit Breaker

C4F7N has been proven to be a potential alternative gas for SF6 in high-voltage interruption field. By far, many researches have focused on its insulation characteristics, while the studies on the arc extinguishing performance are relatively few. N mixed gas has the potential to interrupt arc and the differences between the characteristics of the two media are also analyzed.
