Optimization Strategy for Fast Charging Station Access to the Distribution Grid Based on Aggregated Access and Zone Governance

With the development of electric vehicles and the emergence of vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology, an increasing number of fast charging stations and large-scale charging piles are being connected to the distribution grid. This has led to significant transformations in the traditional morphology of the distribution grid, resulting in serious impacts on its capacity and power quality. To address this issue, a novel optimization approach is proposed, which incorporates reactive power regulation and is based on a voltage stability coefficient matrix. This approach aims to optimize the integration of fast charging stations into the distribution grid while also mitigating the impact on power quality. Specifically, the distribution grid is divided into zones for comprehensive governance of power quality. The voltage stability coefficients of the distribution grid system are calculated using a power flow Jacobian matrix, and then strong stability nodes are integrated through DC aggregation to achieve grid connection with reactive power-voltage regulation. The proposed method is validated through MATLAB/Simulink simulations based on the IEEE-33 node system, demonstrating its effectiveness in improving voltage rise and harmonic issues within the network.
