Experimental Verification for Electromagnetic and Thermal Characteristics of a High-Speed Permanent Magnet Motor with Two Different Rotors

This study presents an approach to calculating the temperature increase in the internal components of permanent magnet synchronous machines by improved electromagnetic loss analysis method. The effect of the electromagnetic wave characteristics according to the carrier harmonics on the electromagnetic wave loss of the motor is considered, and the thermal characteristics analysis method of the motor through the electromagnetic loss analysis method considering the magnetic field behavior is discussed. Finally, the validity of the thesis is presented through comparison with the experimental results, and a heat reduction design method through improved design is presented.
