Calculation of Ion Flow Field of HVDC Lines Considering the Influence of Stochastic Suspended-Particles

The charged suspended-particle around HVDC lines will affect the ion flow density and electric field (ion flow field), however, the charging model of the suspended-particle considering the distribution characteristics is not well studied. In this paper, the stochastic-distribution model of the suspended-particle charge density is developed, which is fully included in the calculation of ion flow field. After the validity of the proposed stochastic model is verified by experiment results, the ion flow field under ± 800kV HVDC lines in the polluted environment is analyzed by using upstream finite element method, and statistical parameters are obtained.
