Integrated AC line monitoring in large computer power systems

A line motor card (LMC) which satisfies the need for a cost-effective high-performance monitoring device has been designed and integrated into the computer power supply system for large computers. A summary of the power-line-transient environment, and a description of the operation of the LMC are presented.<
