Elliptical Loop-Microstrip Array for Focus Brain Lobe Imaging with 11.74 Teslas MRI System

. With the recent development at our site of a 11.74 Teslas (T) MRI scanner for human imaging, we are preparing for novel RF transmission and reception coils brain imaging. In this work, we propose the use of a modification of a microstrip in the shape of an elliptical loop, and extended to an array structure to deliver magnetic |B1|-field into a brain model.
