Physical Simulations in Educational Process for IT majors from Students Perspective

As Information Technologies have become ubiquitous, one notable advancement is the emergence of sophisticated simulation capabilities, evolving continuously since the previous century. The results of our survey show that students welcome the new course enrichment with great sympathy as they possess some programming experience. Leveraging these simulations intelligently not only has the potential to enhance students' fundamental understanding of physics but also cultivates proficiency in interacting with simulation engines through programming languages. Constructing simulations for several physical phenomena revealed the software power to imitate the real world and explore an ideal one. This paper advocates for the integration of simulation activities into physics curricula, particularly targeting students majoring in Computer Science and related disciplines. Our research underscores the benefits of this innovative approach, emphasizing its simplicity and accessibility to a diverse spectrum of learners.
