Simulation Study of the Impact of Ultra-High Building Clusters on the Key Parameters of Civil Aviation Doppler VHF Omnidirectional Radio Range

Doppler VHF omnidirectional radio range (DVOR) is the key infrastructure of civil aviation land-based navigation technology, which can provide the whole process of navigation service for aircraft in terminal area and flight path. DVOR have strict requirements on the working site, and with the continuous expansion of urban planning, the impact of the newly added ultra-high building clusters on the performance of radio signals radiated by DVOR is becoming more and more prominent. Taking the planned ultra-high building clusters around the DVOR as an example, impact of the building clusters on key DVOR parameters is simulated and analyzed, suggestions and recommendations are made to address those categories of issues, to provide reference for the scenarios with similar problems.
