A Bibliometric Analysis of Research on AWS Cloud: A Web of Science Perspective

This study gives a bibliometric analysis of Amazon Web Services (AWS) -related publications in Web of Science Journals. A total of 1,297 articles that met the inclusion requirements were examined to discover publishing trends, coauthorship patterns, and author keyword co-occurrence. The findings show a continuous increase in AWS publications over time, suggesting the growing relevance of AWS in research and practise. Collaborative networks between nations, organisations, and writers have been noticed, with the United States playing a key role. The University of Melbourne and Carnegie Mellon University have been highlighted as active players in AWS research. The co-occurrence of author keywords reveals the most common topics in AWS literature, such as cloud computing, machine learning, and security. The cocitation analysis reveals important publications and collaboration networks in the subject. This in-depth examination throws light on the AWS research environment and offers useful information for academics, policymakers, and industry experts. The results help to understand current trends and prospective future directions in AWS research, as well as its effect across other fields.
