Analysis of Magnetic Core Winding of Inductive Coupler for Pulsed Current Injection(PCI)

Pulsed current injection (PCI) is an essential method to investigate the effects of electromagnetic pulse, and the investigation of its coupling mode has become an area of significant interest within the EMC industry. The paper concentrates on the magnetic core winding of the inductive coupler for PCI. Based on the permeability curve of the nanocrystalline obtained from the test, the effects of parameters such as the size and coil of the magnetic core winding on the performance of the coupler are analyzed by simulation models. Finally, suggested design requirements that are relevant to PCI inductive coupler are presented.
