Development of a 600 GHz Phase-Grating Based Focusing Beam Divider

This paper presents the development of a beam divider by combining two quasi-optical elements, a phase grating and a focusing mirror, into one. A prototype of a four-pixel focusing divider working at 600GHz has been fabricated. We describe the design, the 3D simulation and the measurement of the focusing beam divider. A good agreement between the calculation and the measurement has been found.
