MRI exposure assessment: an overview of Italian research activity

In this work, the authors report some results of previous studies conducted for assessing occupational exposure in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) related to gradient magnetic fields and movement in the static magnetic field. To do this some measurement campaigns were carried out and a procedure approach was developed with the aim of providing and testing an efficient method for exposure assessment.
