The Design of Wideband Current Transformer Burden and Its Calibration Method

In the calibration of measuring current transformer, it is necessary to provide simulated secondary load for current transformer in order to realize the measurement with transformer calibrator. With the increase of low and medium frequency current transformer, the traditional 50Hz current transformer burden can not provide the secondary load within the error range. Aiming at the problem that the value of inductive impedance in impedance circuits is affected by the frequency, it is proposed here to separate the impedance circuits at different frequencies and design a wideband current transformer burden. Meanwhile, based on the principle of three-parameter measurement and a calibration device, a calibration method of the wideband current transformer burden is proposed, and an example of uncertainty evaluation is given.
