Developing Smart Indoor Air Quality for Notifying of PM2.5 via Mobile and Supporting Solar Power System

This research introduces a smart indoor air quality monitoring system designed to inform residents about PM 2. 5 levels via mobile devices, powered by solar energy. Addressing the critical issue of PM 2.5 pollutions in Thailand, especially in densely populated urban areas like Bangkok, the system aims to mitigate health risks associated with high concentrations of these particles. Traditional monitoring focuses on outdoor environments, leaving a gap in residential indoor air quality assessment. This system provides real- time notifications to residents, enabling prompt action to improve air quality. Utilizing solar power enhances sustainability and reduces electrical energy dependence, aligning with environmental conservation efforts. The study details the system's development, from design to testing, highlighting its ability to deliver accurate, timely data on indoor PM 2.5 levels. Results indicate that this innovative approach can significantly enhance public health by offering an effective means to manage indoor air pollution, demonstrating the potential for integrating renewable energy in environmental monitoring technologies.
