Research and Design of Wide Range High Voltage Input Series Flyback Converter

In high-voltage input applications, the switching device of a single ended flyback converter bears high voltage stress, which affects its safe and stable operation. To solve this problem, this article introduces the series flyback converter and analyzes its automatic average voltage characteristics. The topology exhibits good voltage sharing performance under both CCM and DCM mode. In order to verify the correctness of the analysis, a 200V~ 11 OOV two winding series flyback converter was designed, and the experimental results proved the correctness of the analysis and design.
