Application of Integrated and Split Magnetics in LLC Resonant Converters

Magnetics are important components of power electronic converters, which can realize transmission and storage of magnetic energy, harmonic filtering and electrical isolation. The study of magnetic components is an important way to improve the power density and performance of power electronic converters. Split type and integrated type are two commonly used forms of magnetic components in power electronic converters. This article analyzes the application of integrated and split magnetic components in LLC resonant converters, presents their design process, and verifies them through experiments. Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of integrated and split magnetic components are discussed.
