Voltage Support Technology of Photovoltaic System Based on Inertia Stiffness Compensation

Because the photovoltaic output has the characteristics of volatility, intermittent and no moment of inertia, the photovoltaic system is prone to bus voltage fluctuations during operation, which affects the safe and stable operation of the entire system, and even leads to the action of the protection device. Therefore, how to improve voltage stability is the key problem that needs to be solved. In this paper, a voltage support technology of photovoltaic system based on inertia stiffness compensation is proposed. By adding inertia stiffness compensation device based on energy storage and virtual synchronous control to the system, active and reactive power support is carried out, the active power of the bus is quickly balanced, and reactive power is compensated to improve voltage. Finally, based on MATLAB/Simulink platform, the simulation results show the role of inertia and stiffness compensation and the influence of control parameters, and verify that the inertia stiffness compensator can effectively improve the voltage quality of the photovoltaic system.
