Review of the Development of Innovative Wind Power Generation Technology

At present, the global offshore wind power is accelerating its expansion from near sea to deep sea. The application scenarios of wind power are becoming more diverse. However, the large-scale production of conventional wind turbines faces significant challenges such as large size and heavy weight, and difficulties in transportation and installation. Deep offshore high-power wind turbines and diversified application scenarios pose an urgent need for innovative wind power technologies. The article investigates the development status of new wind power generation technologies at home and abroad, summarizes the development status of different new technology paths such as multi-rotor wind turbines, new vertical axis wind turbines, and airborne wind power generation, and analyzes the industrialization development trend of different technology paths, in order to provide reference for promoting wind power innovation solutions from laboratory research to industrial development.
