A Double Closed-loop Vector Control Strategy for Dual Stator-Winding Induction Generator

In the fields of wind power generation, ship shaft power generation, pipeline residual pressure power generation and flywheel energy storage, generators are needed to realize the conversion of mechanical energy to electrical energy. The difference between the dual stator-winding induction generator (DWIG) in this paper and the traditional induction generator studied is that the stator side is composed of two sets of windings, the power winding and the control winding, and the magnetic field of the motor rotor can be adjusted by the control winding, so as to keep the voltage and frequency of the output terminal of the power winding unchanged when the motor speed or load is changed by external influences. In this paper, the mathematical model of DWIG is established, the coupling relationship between the power winding, the control winding and the rotor winding is analyzed, and the mathematical model equation under the two-phase rotation dq coordinate system is derived. Secondly, a double closed-loop vector control strategy of power winding voltage outer loop and control winding current inner loop is proposed to maintain the stability of power winding terminal voltage and frequency by controlling the change of three-phase voltage of control winding. Finally, a simulation analysis model is built by using Simulink, and the closed-loop control performance under the condition of speed and load change is compared and analyzed, and the feasibility of the double closed-loop vector control strategy is verified.
