Simulation and Analysis of Stator Short-circuit Fault of Permanent Magnet Vernier Motor

In order to solve the stator interturn short circuit fault of the surface permanent magnet vernier motor, the magnetic flux density change of the motor air gap is calculated by the magnetic circuit permeability method, and the harmonic component caused by the stator short circuit winding in the air gap is analyzed. Taking 1/11 poles vernier motor as an example, the short-circuit fault model of the vernier motor is established, the electromagnetic characteristics of the motor under different short-circuit turns and different speed are calculated, the fault signal is extracted from the stator induced electromotive force, and the relationship between fault characteristic value, short circuit turns and motor speed is obtained. It is proved that PARK vector method can identify and detect inter-turn short circuit fault in single fault mode of vernier motor.
