Parameter Design Method with Anti-Misalignment Ability for Electric-Filed Coupled WPT System

Aiming at the problem of coupling misalignment of electric-field coupled wireless power transfer (EC-WPT) system, this paper proposes a parameter design and optimization method, which can achieve anti-misalignment ability. Taking the double-sided LC-compensated EC-WPT system as an object, the mathematical model of the system is established under the consideration of inductor equivalent series resistance (ESR), and the expression of the system output voltage is derived. Considering the constant voltage characteristic and coupling capacitance variation, a nonlinear planning model for the design of the system parameters is established. Therefore, the parameter design method of the system is given. The simulation model of the system is established, and the simulation results show that the output voltage of the system has a maximum variation range of 0.9% under the maximum misalignment of 85% of the receiver plates when the value of the coupling capacitance varies within the interval of [11.5pF, 63pF]. The simulation results demonstrate the system has a constant-voltage output characteristic under the condition of misalignment of the coupler of the un-manned aerial vehicle.
