Coordinate Frequency Control Strategy for Multiple Wind Farms Considering Wind Speed Differences

Aiming at the problem that the existing wind farm frequency control strategy cannot take into account different wind speed conditions to achieve primary frequency regulation, this paper proposes a coordinated frequency control strategy for multiple wind farms considering wind speed differences. Firstly, the theoretical equation of system counting and wind power square wave inertia command frequency dip depth is derived, and the factors affecting primary and secondary dip depth are analyzed. Further, to address the problem of differential frequency control capability of wind farms at different wind speeds, the constraints such as power dip at the exit moment, minimum rotor speed limit and system frequency frequency change rate are considered comprehensively to realize online optimal square-wave inertia power command optimal adjustment for different wind farms, and each wind farm participates in the system frequency control according to the stepwise timing sequence of command value; finally, a multi-wind farm coordinated frequency control strategy based on MATLAB/Simulink simulation model of multiple wind farms is built, and the simulation results of this paper can effectively improve the system frequency response characteristics, suppress the depth of the second drop, and improve the system frequency stability.
