Layout Method of Transmission Line Icing Monitoring Device Based on Terrain Index

In view of the shortcomings of only considering a single terrain factor in the current icing device layout method of transmission lines, this paper proposes a method of icing monitoring device layout based on terrain index by using digital elevation model and neural network algorithm. Based on the neural network algorithm, this paper establishes a prediction model with terrain index and icing thickness as input and output respectively. According to the principle of distribution density, the monitoring points are selected, and the historical data of average maximum icing thickness of transmission lines in a certain area are used to verify the correctness of the proposed strategy. The research in this paper can provide reference for the rationality of the layout of the icing monitoring device of the existing transmission line and the layout of the icing monitoring device of the new transmission line.
