Partial Power EV Fast Charging Station Based on Dual DC Buses

For the fast charging of electric vehicles this paper proposes a new partial power system based on dual DC buses. This DC-DC converter topology uses a two-stage structure of a front-stage fixed frequency LLC converter and a back-stage T-type three-level converter to control tram charging. In this charging scheme, the structure of generating a low-voltage DC bus to supply power to the rear-stage voltage regulation circuit by the front-stage DC-DC converter can reduce the number of devices used. In this paper, the 100kW partial power charging station is taken as an example, and the simulation is built in MATLAB Simulink.
