Study on Breaking Characteristics of Double-Break High-Voltage Breaker

Circuit breaker is the extremely important control and protection device in power system, as the driving part of circuit breaker, hydraulic operating mechanism has the characteristics of fast response and instantaneous high power. For high-voltage circuit breaker, especially its operating mechanism often faces various faults due to design and processing problems, how to design and optimize the operating mechanism with high performance and high reliability is an important engineering practical problem. Aiming at the internal motion process of the cylinder block in hydraulic actuator, this paper makes use oil's incompressible characteristics, focuses on the piston structure, comprehensively considers the different flow control equations of the piston movement to different positions, and combines the piston kinematics equation to study the motion parameters of hydraulic actuator during the breaking process. On the other hand, on the basis of the original model, this paper uses different structure parameters of cylinder block to study the influence of key parameters of the cylinder block on the breaking process's motion parameters of the hydraulic operating mechanism, which provides a theoretical basis for the structural optimization design.
